Like a great number of things (more and more everyday), having a dual citizenship (as of a couple years ago) to a NOT advanced nation is going to pay off methinks. *Hint TC hint*
Is that avoiding the eventual, most likely, but I'm just looking to delay a great number of things at my age (63), having lived through and seen the downfall of America as we used to know it, might be a damn fine idea to get out the door ASAP.
Turn on a PC, cell phone or anything similar, it's downright scary how fast the AI has picked up on my desire to purchase 15 pounds of whey protein (yeah-yeah, I'm a meathead) and has established that its "me", and target every ad from here to Sunday around that fact.
Every day there are people trying to influence our politics, buying decisions, etc., and they ARE getting better and better at it through AI, you think Orwell's 1984 was disturbing, just think of that with the future of AI, it's already here folks.
With the dramatic changes 9/11 brought about in our consciousness compared to the "Greatest Generation" and what that they brought about, it's been a downward spiral, in my opinion. Even though a great many blocks in the foundation were laid during the Reagan years (you know, when the US government became the world's largest drug dealer-Iran/Contra?), good old Uncle Ronny!
You know, we're screwed, between becoming micro plastic blood bags, 40+% obese as a nation, and having the lunatics running the asylum, it's over.
THE END IS HERE!
Let me finish packing my bags here, and I'll finish this reply...wait, who's there? sergg hel...p
Sorry it took so long to answer. I was bummed because so few people thought the article wasn't comment-worthy. Maybe they all left the article mid-read to go find Ani? Ha! Dual citizenship. Nice. I was born in Canada, so all I'd have to do is write a nice letter and they'd reinstate my citizenship. Similarly, I qualify for Finnish citizenship too because both parents were born there. So many choices! But truthfully, I couldn't do it because of my dogs. Wouldn't want to put them in some cargo bay for umpteen hours and then have to quarantine them. But who knows? I'm starting to see cracks in the system. Hope is not lost.

Heya,
If you're a "Flatlander" that would explain a lot (!), I kid, I kid. :P
